Sleep well again…
There can be a variety of reasons why we have trouble sleeping. It could be that it’s an ingrained habit that we need to break from. We may have all sorts of things on our minds that we try to deal with when we stop the day’s activities.
It may even be that at some point in the past something happened that made our subconscious mind decide that it was unsafe or unwise to sleep the whole night through.
Often, simply the worry of not being able to get to sleep prevents us from doing so, it can be a vicious circle, the less sleep we get the more worried we become? (in this situation it can sometimes help if we ask ourselves what?s the worst thing that can happen if I don?t get any sleep tonight?)
Insomnia responds very well to Hypnotherapy and good therapist looks at each individual’s reasons for their difficulties with sleep and will tailor the therapy accordingly. Often a hypnotherapist will also provide a cd or tape which can be played at bed time in order to relax and lull the client to sleep with suggestions that the sleep will be a deep and satisfying one.
